The Ethereal Ingots Add-On adds new end-game weapons crafted from a powerful new material, the Ethereal Ingot, into your survival world for you and your friends to work towards acquiring. Each weapon possesses unique abilities to fit many different types of players, but few players will be able acquire them all.
Everyone knows how to craft a diamond block, but how is an Ethereal Ingot created? With diamond blocks!
Only the wealthiest of players will be able to create an ethereal ingot, but also only the most skillful will be able to create a weapon from them. At the hilt/handle of each weapon, a nether star is used in place of a stick, making defeating the wither a requirement for acquiring these legendary weapons.
The Ethereal Sword of the Knight

The Ethereal Battleaxe of the Brute

The Ethereal Excavator
Damage: 20

Abilities: Automatically mines blocks (dirt, stone, sand, gravel, diorite etc.) directly touching the player at head/leg height. Perfect for quickly boring tunnels, flattening out land, and extremely quick mining.
The Ethereal Chainsaw
Damage: 20
Durability: Infinite
Abilities: Automatically mines trees (logs and leaves) directly touching the player at head/leg height. Perfect for quickly navigating through thick forests and could be implemented for very efficient tree farms.
(NEW) Excalibur
Damage: 1000
Durability: Infinite
Abilities: 50% Speed Boost
By far the hardest ethereal weapon to obtain, Excalibur requires over 10 different pieces to be built. First, a soul vessel has to be crafted from 5 gold blocks and an Ethereal Ingot.
Next, a soul from eight different mobs has to be collected in order to charge the soul vessel. The following mobs have a 2% chance of dropping their “soul canister”:
- Blaze
- Creeper
- Drowned
- Phantom
- Spider
- Skeleton
- Wither Skeleton
- Zombie
Finally, the Wither will now drop either Excalibur’s Hilt or Excalibur’s Blade upon death (50/50 chance). Once you have obtained both, you can build the sword.
